BCC to stand up volunteer workforce to assist with post-flood trail remediation at Mt Coot-tha

We caught up with Brisbane City Council officers today and note there is finally some movement towards re-opening the trail network at Mt Coot-tha/Gap Creek.

Council will open expressions of interest soon (not sure when), with the aim to have a volunteer workforce stood up and working on trail remediation after the school holidays.

BORRA is meeting with Cr Tracy Davis (EPS Chair) next week to discuss this initiative as well as broader ones like the return of a permanent trailcare program and the MTB Concept Plan for Mt Coot-tha.
